I hope someone can shed light on this subject. I was born South African and now live in the UK. I have had a British passport for 5 years now. My SA passport expired February last year. Since then I have been toying with the idea of going back to SA. My question is: How (if possible) can I get my SA passport back? A simple renewal or a whole new application?
And does anyone know, if I did want to go back to SA, do I need a work permit to work there if I am on a British passport. Do I actually need an SA passport to be able to return?
