Overview We are looking for an experienced International Sales Executive with a proven track record of selling high value systems and solutions to a range of civilian and non-civilian customers. Probably an engineer by training and with a background in RF, the successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge and skills and be able to operate comfortably and credibly with a mainly technical customer base. The majority of our sales are overseas and the role will involve extensive travel in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. This is a high profile role in a fast growing and dynamic company and is an excellent career opportunity for an ambitious, self-motivated individual with the necessary drive and strong inter-personal skills.
Responsibilities

   » Sales campaign planning, forecasts and budgets
   » Lead generation and qualification
   » Building, developing and supporting sales channels including agents, distributors, resellers and system integrators
   » Visits and product demonstrations to existing and potential customers
   » Product training for in-county agents/distributors
   » Overseas conferences/exhibitions, including speaking
   » Preparation of bids for tenders
   » Closing sales and hitting targets
Requirements

   » Track record of high value systems selling in overseas markets
   » Track record of building successful overseas sales channels
   » Technical and commercial skills to pre-qualify prospective customers ensuring productive pre-sale engagements
   » Diligence and attention to detail for managing leads and pipeline and generating sales forecasts
   » Experience of preparing winning bids and high quality responses to RFIs /RFQs
   » Ability to work both independently and as a team player
   » Engineering background or knowledge of RF technology and ability to learn new hardware and software technologies quickly
   » Excellent oral and written communication skills
   » Drive, ambition, commitment and the desire to go the extra mile for clients and prospects
   » Willingness to travel extensively and at short notice, as required
