Position Description
Identify, research and contact potential prospects within defined geographic and vertical markets. Schedule sales calls for agency leadership.
Basic Responsibilities Include:
1. List building. Create and build outreach lists by identifying potential leads through social media tools, third party lists, alerts, trade sites and other appropriate sources.
2. Outreach. Targeted prospect outreach via telesales. Track and record all associated activities.
3.  Marketing Activities. Work with senior account executives to help manage, produce and track all associated marketing materials within the firm including- white papers, email blasts and any other required materials.
4. Market Intelligence. Utilize social media and other technology platforms to engage and connect with prospects.
5. Create and manage weekly sales and prospecting reports summarizing all business development activities.
6. Maintain Agency Outreach Materials. Keep all materials up to date and inventory associated printed collateral. Identify opportunities to create new content.
2+ years of business development or outbound sales experience An understanding of marketing A four-year college degree Strong written and oral communications skills Ability to aggressively cold call, follow up, and set appointments for prospective client meetings Motivated by selling and the sales process Working knowledge of CRM, social and interactive media Self-directed and works independently, can self prioritize
