A primary school in Redbridge is recruiting for an experienced Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator to start in September 2012.

As the SENCO you will be responsible for the academic progress and welfare of all children with SEN, focusing in particular with statemented children. You will liaise with Head of Subjects to help them manage the Learning Support timetables to meet the individual needs of students. You will identify through assessment children with literacy, language and social needs, using the specific resources to monitor their needs.

You will be an experienced teacher with a minimum of 3 years UK teaching experience. You will have held a SENCO or Inclusion manager post before or alternatively will have extensive SEN teaching experience and are looking for the next stage in your career.
