English Teacher

A school in Sandwell is looking for an English Teacher to work till the end of this academic year with the possibility of it continuing in to September.

The school is a large inner city school. The surroundings area means that the student population is drawn from a multicultural background. It would be advantageous to have experience in similar schools. English is not the first language for many students; however, the English Department is well supported within the school. The senior management team are supportive and their expectations reasonable.

You will be working with Year 7 and 8 students focusing primarily on English however there may be a requirement for you to assist in other departments. It is important to have good classroom management and a range of techniques to keep the students focused and on track through the use of structure and discipline.
