Tradewind's client is a reputable two form entry primary school in Sutton. At present the school has a vacancy for a part time practitioner to join the staffing team for PPA Cover.

Experience is essential as you will also work on a 1:1 basis with underachieving children to ensure they improve academically in core subjects.

The post will be for one term with the option for an extended period. The Headteacher has indicated the school should have the funds to extend the contract further but that will be a point of discussion at Christmas. And it will only be confirmed should both parties wish to continue the position.

The children in the school are well behaved and polite and perform averagely for the borough.

Grades are the issue in the school as the foundations are set but the results are varied. The Headteacher aims to rectify this and bringing an experienced practitioner to cover PPA and work with lower ability children is seen as a crucial acquisition to the school.

The facilities are very strong as the school is on terrific grounds with good financial backing from the local government. New ICT suits were installed last year and the facilities in general were refurbished soon after. The learning space in bright and colourful and adds to the vibrant atmosphere in the school.
