Industrial Sales Specialist

Industrial Sales Founded in 1933, ASKO produces a wide range of specialty wear-resistant tooling for the metal producing, metal processing and metal recycling industries. ASKO combines expert understanding of special tool materials, technology and tooling application requirements to create innovative solutions for all tooling needs. 

Today, our continued growth has created an immediate opportunity for an Industrial Sales Specialist (ISS) to work out of ASKO’s headquarters in West Homestead, Pennsylvania.

Working with and learning from our Sales & Customer Service team, the  ISS learns & performs business development projects, product development, inquiry solicitation & follow-up, new customer & order acquisition, order entry and claims resolution. The ISS will also participate in ASKO’s trade shows, make sales presentations and collect, compile & report competitive intelligence.

We anticipate that the successful candidate after training will be able to independently travel to find new business with new customers as well as visit existing customers.    
ASKO requires adegree, preferably a BS and ideally in a technical discipline. Any prior industrial sales experience and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings would be plus, but is not required. The ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
