About the role To support and manage the Exchange / Ad Ops team in providing first class service to our clients, as well as delivering quality and innovative solutions for our clients on time. To take a key role in managing the regional planning and buying on all clients using DSPs, reporting in to an Head of Exchange Strategy & Head of Ad Ops

About the clients
   » As Exchange Manager you will work across the full spectrum of clients
   » This covers all sectors but with a strong focus on DR in Travel, Finance, Utilities and Auto verticals
   » However Brand clients are forming an increasing focus for Exchange activity and would form a core component. This includes brands such as Penguin and Puig.

Key responsibilities
   » To provide day to day support to the Head of Exchange Strategy
   » To manage all Exchange media campaigns across your clients’ businesses
   » To update the client / investment teams on a regular basis
   » Working closely with Adnetik and similar platforms to understand their products and capabilities
   » Help to facilitate growth through delivering performance across the exchange space, and in particular Adnetik. This will include responsibility for monitoring commercial results.
   » Make regular recommendations for optimisations within the space, including use of Artemis to generate insights
   » Drive self-service optimisation within the agency with Head of Exchange strategy
   » Provide detail to the client teams on performance and what is driving this
   » Keep abreast of all developments within the display and audience data spaces.
   » Provide direction to any Exchange Execs
   » Support development of partnerships with Display vendors to increase inventory available to us. Look to improve campaign performance through the setup/use of private marketplaces/Direct Deals
   » Employ data opportunities (both 1st and 3rd party) to improve campaign performance (both brand and DR) where relevant and work with our data partners.
   » Manage the recruitment and review process for your reports
   » To manage an Exchange Executive

Who we are looking for

You should have drive to achieve results in a friendly manner but at the same time maintain quality and standards. You should have the ability to absorb and impart factual information to others and work within standard operating procedures. Ideally the person fulfilling the role will have specialist/technical skills and will work within an area of knowledge and expertise. Communication, the need to enjoy challenging situations and a systematic and perfectionist approach to problems are integral to the function. The ideal person for this position will be positive, participative, self-confident, friendly, self-starting, competitive, inquisitive, imaginative, factual, consistent and somewhat conventional and self-disciplined. Activity, mobility, flexibility, variety and pace are also important aspects within the role. You may prove to be a cautious decision maker due to the need for perfection and getting things right.

Key experience & skills
   » The ideal candidate will come from a media background with substantial experience.
   » You will have a complete understand of all display media, and in particular DSPs & Exchanges
   » Ideally, you will understand the wider media landscape actively understanding the clients integrated approach and business aims.
   » Have experience of managing an Account Executive.
   » Confident client handler and public speaker.
   » Ambitious, fun with a ‘work hard play hard’ attitude.
