Insider Media Limited is the market leading regional media company in the UK.

The company specialises in B2B magazines, business events and a growing portfolio of digital products which it has continued to expand in recent years.

The company hosts over 100 business events. They have the UK's largest regional news email service, an innovative TV video service and plans to continue to expand their digital products and services. Their members are typically regional business leaders, managing partners and business owners.

The Midlands division, based in Birmingham city centre, requires a new Regional Manager.

Since this office opened it has continued to grow and expand. Due to this development in the business with a strong existing and potential Client base in Birmingham and the Midlands, you will lead further growth in sales revenues for the Region. The new manager will be responsible for building on current performance levels and bringing them further in line with those enjoyed by more mature divisions in the Group.

You excel at leading and developing a Sales Team?

This role is ideal for an experienced sales person who wishes to remain closely involved in sales but who also enjoys developing sales people. This role best suits someone who wants more responsibility and the opportunity to have their own division.

The successful applicant will report to a Board Director but day to day is responsible for the development of sales of all Insider products across the Midlands region across print, online and event platforms. Previous B2B sales experience and evidence of effective networking is essential with the ability to sell up to Board Level, to both business leaders and senior directors and therefore excellent presentation and interpersonal skills are essential in order to develop new business and grow existing accounts.

The right applicant will already have a proven, demonstrable track record in sales but will also have experience and proven success in transferring their skills to their sales team.

You will also be able to accurately report current and projected performance and your ongoing plans to deliver the business revenue objectives and realise optimum sales activity for your team.

This is also an exciting opportunity for a creative sales person as new events and digital products have been developed from ideas put forward by the sales management team. The Company will support personal development and encourages career and succession planning.

The company is headquartered in Manchester with offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds and Cardiff.
