Solution Designer - Market Leader - (£45k - £60k)

My client, a prestigious Financial Services organisation based near Birmingham, is looking for an experienced Solution Designer to join their highly successful team. As a hands-on "player/manager", the Solution Designer is responsible for working with the other cross-functional team leads to define and deliver against a plan, actively contributing to team deliveries, building a creative and empowered environment and sharing their vision with the wider team. You will be responsible for drawing out, analysing and clarifying requirements, combining those with best practice patterns and principles and defining, refining and documenting designs that align with your product's roadmap.

Responsibilities:
- Defining the shape of the solution, working with key stakeholders to ensure that it aligns with the roadmap, and then engaging and enthusing teams to deliver it.
- Defining, refining and documenting the design of engaging, compelling and commercially viable products.
- Running internal (and potentially external) design workshops to define high level solution designs

Essential Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the Financial Services industry
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience of successfully documenting solution designs as deliverables into development and test teams.

Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of range of Business Analysis Tools and Techniques
