Financial Ops Controller Financial Ops Controller required urgently for a 3 month contract with a global financial services company. As the Financial Ops Controller you must be fully qualified in CIMA, ACA or ACCA with a background ideally in financial services/banking. As this is an urgent role we can only consider candidates that are available immediately .









Overall job purpose of the Financial Ops Controller



Month End reporting

   » Production of all Month-End packs, associated commentaries and KPIs - ready for Customer.
   » Provide and appropriate suite of statutory and regulatory reports in line with agreed service offer



Planning

   » Budget and Forecast preparation.
   » Identification of any in year/ongoing cost challenges - ready for Customer and Cross Functional Manager.
   » Transform ledger data into effective analyses for Planning and decision making



Financial Control

   » Review and identify missing Accruals/Prepayments.
   » Carry out monthly ARRTs and quarterly Attestation Review processes - including liaising with customers on any Financial
   » Control weaknesses



Finance Business Partnering

   » Query and issue resolution - timely, accurate and appropriate response.
   » Identify root cause of query and look to resolve permanently or escalate to Cost Manager



Cost Management

   » Independently perform the review and interrogation of data, ad-hoc analyses and Deep Dives - identifying and escalating any cost reduction and other opportunities, risks and issues.
   » Maintain Cost Area Record



Projects

   » Responsibility of one or more small Projects (eg Business case review)
