Product Control Technology Business Analyst

Trading successfully across a wide range of products they are looking to move a number of their improvement projects to BUA stage.

The primary purpose of this role is to act as Business Analyst in the Product Control team for the Fixed Income business to facilitate transfer of P/L reporting from a spreadsheet driven process to a sql server / .Net database solution.

For these specialist roles we are ideally looking for:
• Fixed Income product accounting knowledge. Knowledge and understanding of the role of a product controller. Experience of working in a financial control/product control environment
• Solid general accounting understanding ideally Qualified Accountant (or overseas equivalent or QBE), with extensive investment banking project knowledge
• In depth knowledge of GLs, from a technical accounting and systems perspective. we're looking for someone with Fixed Income product control exposure more than Financial Control exposure
• Strong BA’s as this is a technical accounting for products based project based in Finance with a strong systems skill set including Database development experience – MS Access and/or SQL and/or .Net
• Use Finance and P/L reporting knowledge to investigate differences highlighted by recs with a view to producing requirements on root cause technology and accounting issues
