Alliance Manager - multi-million dollar utilities project

The organisation are a well respected contractor that hold capabilities in utilities asset management, waste management, remediation and infrastructure management, operating nationwide across Australia. Due to their high regard within these sectors my client has gained an extension on an existing alliance formed with a utilities provider in WA, which will continue for the next 5 years.

The project goes live in 2011, however my client is seeking experienced professionals within the water industry to join the alliance team over the next month or 2 in order to begin the planning aspect of this project. One of the recruits that is crucial to this planning phase is the Alliance Manager that will be overseeing all operations within this turn-key project, once it goes live.

The alliance will involve the upgrade and maintenance of water and wastewater infrastructure throughout WA and hence my client is seeking applicants that hold strong exposure to this industry, ideally within a similar role on an alliance project. The successful applicant will hold exceptional operational management skills, an exceptional record of project delivery within alliance projects, strong team management skills and excellent stakeholder liaison skills. You will also hold strong project development experience in order to assist in the planning and development stages of this project. Operational and maintenance experience will be a highly regarded addition.

This position holds a strong focus in asset management and hence a background within asset management is essential.

It is essential that applicants hold previous alliance management experience and although this will ideally be within the utilities or water industry applicants holding experience in other sectors will also be considered.
