As a bank they have a strong focus on their people, processes and product innovation. As a division and business unit they have selected as a key area of growth within the Institutional segment of the bank. They have been given the funding and resources necessary to enhance and build on their current capabilities.

The bank have created 3 new positions within the team. They have resources behind them to help build new innovative products as and when required. From an external point of view this is the perfect time for someone to join the team.

The Role
The role available is for a Senior Relationship Manager. The director of the institutional portfolio is looking for a senior manager to assist with the origination, portfolio management and deal execution associated with this portfolio.

You will be supported by Senior Institutional Analysts who are extremely hands on. It is part of their roles to not only analyse financials and prepare submissions; they are also heavily involved in the deal pitch to internal credit committee.

Your client base will be a mix of listed companies and top tier corporates. Your transaction size will vary considerably within this. You will be working on a large amount of M&A deals, Bonds, Syndication, Bi-Lateral loans.

The Successful Applicant
Minimum of 5 years relationship management experience within institutional and top tier corporate banking
Significant exposure to M&A transactions, syndication and bi lateral loans
Portfolio management experience with listed companies
Experience in origination at this level
Sound credit knowledge
Stable CV showing clear career progression.
