Commercial Manager - Contract Role - Major Rail Project - Sydney

An experienced Commercial Manager with a strong background in Civil/Rail Construction is required on a major rail alliance contract in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience on a complex project in Sydney's West.

Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for:

   » Providing contractual and financial advice to Project Managers with particular emphasis on progress claims and variations
   » Ensure all records and documentation are complete and up to date
   » Review the negotiation of contract terms and conditions
   » Manage the major contract/subcontract, procurement packages, and contractual claims
   » Review commercial reports
   » Ensure all clients requirements have been met from a commercial perspective

The ideal candidate will come from a construction or civil construction background working on projects from concept through to delivery. You will be degree education or other equivalent tertiary qualifications and have a worked held a commercial management position in the past. You will likely have a minimum of 8 years experience.
