As a result of continued growth, Assetivity is seeking additional consulting staff. We are looking to recruit one or more keen, motivated individuals, who are keen to make a difference in developing and implementing improved Maintenance Planning and Scheduling processes at our varied range of resource sector clients.

This is a full-time, permanent position, located in either Brisbane or Perth, with one of Australia's leading and proven Maintenance and Asset Management consultancies. It will provide you with the opportunity to develop your technical and interpersonal skills, working alongside some highly talented, and internationally recognised Maintenance and Asset Management leaders. It will also give you the opportunity to make a valued contribution to the operational success of some of the world's leading oil & gas, mining and mineral processing companies as well as major utilities.

If you are one of the successful candidates, your focus, in the short term, will be on performing consulting assignments, as well as coaching, mentoring and training our clients' staff in one or more of the following areas:

   » Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Improvement
   » Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
   » Maintenance Work Instruction Development
   » Equipment Hierarchy Development
   » Development of Bills of Materials and Parts Lists

In the medium to longer term, there is also an opportunity for you to grow with us, developing your technical and interpersonal skills, progressively assuming greater responsibility for client and assignment management, and assisting with business development.

Your Qualifications and Experience

   » Diploma level qualifications in a technical discipline such as Maintenance Management or Maintenance Engineering will be highly regarded, but candidates with relevant practical experience should also apply.
   » You will need to demonstrate advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to produce high quality end user documentation. Experience using SAP. Ellipse, Oracle eAM or similar CMMS is essential. Exposure to the successful implementation of significant improvements in Maintenance and Asset management performance will be well regarded, and your experience should include specific, demonstrable achievements in one or more of the areas listed above.
   » At least five years experience in a Maintenance Planning or Technical Writing role in the Mining, Mineral Processing, Oil & Gas, or other hazardous process industries is preferred, but we will also consider your job application if you have had equivalent experience in other, relevant industries, such as Power Generation, Utilities, Defence, Aerospace or Heavy Manufacturing.
   » The ability to relate well to client staff is highly important, as is a high degree of self-motivation, and the capability to take the initiative and work independently when required.
   » Previous line management or supervisory experience will be well regarded, as will additional business or management qualifications.
   » Previous consulting experience is not essential, but will be advantageous.

We work at client sites throughout Australia, and have performed several international consulting assignments for Mining and other companies in South East Asia, South America and Africa.

It is anticipated that this role would be primarily located in Brisbane, with some travel to client sites, but we are careful to ensure that this, as much as possible, fits in with our staff's personal and family commitments.

An attractive remuneration package, in the range from $100,000 to $150,000 per annum will be offered, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
