As a result of continued growth, Assetivity is seeking Senior Maintenance and Reliability engineers for its offices in Perth, Western Australia, and Brisbane, Queensland. We are looking to recruit two to four keen, motivated individuals, who are keen to make a difference in developing and implementing maintenance and reliability improvements at our varied range of clients in asset-intensive industries.

These are full-time, permanent positions, with one of Australia's leading and proven Asset Management, Maintenance and Reliability Improvement consultancies. It will provide you with the opportunity to develop your technical and interpersonal skills, working alongside some highly talented, and internationally recognised Maintenance and Reliability Improvement leaders. It will also give you the opportunity to make a valued contribution to the operational success of some of the world's leading organisations.

The primary duties involve performing consulting assignments in the Maintenance and Reliability field that will improve the operational performance of our clients.

This will primarily involve:

   » Conducting Independent Reviews and Assessments
   » Collecting and Analysing Data
   » Writing Reports
   » Delivering Verbal Presentations
   » Assisting with Implementing Improvements in Maintenance and Reliability Performance
   » Coaching and Mentoring client staff
   » Developing and Delivering Training in Maintenance and Reliability areas
   » Managing Consulting Assignments
   » Handling Assignment Timekeeping and Invoicing

The type of consulting assignments may include work in one or more of the following areas:

   » Maintenance and Asset Management Strategy Development
   » Developing Maintenance and Asset Management Plans
   » Reliability Centred Maintenance/PM Optimisation
   » Reliability Modelling
   » Risk Based Inspection
   » Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Improvement
   » Computerised Maintenance Management Systems Selection and Implementation
   » Total Productive Maintenance/Lean Maintenance
   » Maintenance Spare Parts Optimisation
   » Maintenance Benchmarking and Audits
   » Asset Integrity Assurance/Risk Management
   » Root Cause Analysis

In the medium to longer term, there is also an opportunity for you to grow with us, developing your technical and interpersonal skills, progressively assuming greater responsibility for client and assignment management, and assisting with business development.

Your Experience

   » You will need to demonstrate exposure to the successful implementation of significant improvements in Maintenance and Asset management performance, and should include specific, demonstrable success in implementing improvements in one or more of the areas listed above.
   » Previous line management or supervisory experience will be very highly regarded.
   » Experience in the Mining, Mineral Processing, Oil & Gas, or Defence industries is preferred, but we will also consider your job application if you have had operations, maintenance or management experience in other, relevant industries, such as Power Generation, Utilities, Chemicals/Petrochemicals, Aerospace or Heavy Manufacturing.
   » Tertiary qualifications in a technical discipline such as engineering is essential. Additional business or management qualifications will also be highly regarded. Previous consulting experience will also be regarded very favourably.
   » The ability to relate well to client staff at all levels is highly important, as is a high degree of self-motivation, and the capability to take the initiative and work independently when required.
Working with us will involve some intrastate, interstate and international travel, but we are careful to ensure that this, as much as possible, fits in with our staff's personal and family commitments.

An attractive salary package, in the range from $120,000 to $200,000 per annum will be offered, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
