Events Sales Team Leader

JobServe Events are one of the largest organisers of recruitment & career events in the UK Part of the same group as the job board giant JobServe they are now looking for an experienced, results driven Sales Team Leader to set up and drive a new sales tram from our Tiptree office.

Reporting to and working with the JobServe UK Sales Manager, the team leader will recruit, train and develop the sales team, plan the sales strategy and be accountable for delivering on its overall objectives.
 
This is a hands on role where you will also have the opportunity to develop existing business from a portfolio of recruitment and B2B shows across the UK as well as creating new business and building relationships with key industry figures.
Key responsibilities:  
·          Evaluate team and individual performances against target and direct accordingly to ensure KPI's are met
·          Implement and manage a coaching culture within the team/ Identify ongoing training and development needs
·          Conduct regular team and individual meetings with all direct reports
·          Manage a portfolio of customers, establish rapport with customers both on the phone and face to face


Background / Skills / Personal Attributes:
·  Demonstrable sales  leadership and man management skills (min 3 years), gained within a results driven sales environment
·          Sound interpersonal skills centred on communication and influencing
·          Understanding of sales strategy and objective setting
·          Results focussed and self-motivated
·          Ability to multi-task and work on own initiative making informed decisions within given area of responsibility
·          Energetic and enthusiastic with the ability to motivate and inspire others

Salary Basic up to £28k DOE plus uncapped commission
