Senior Account Manager Cambridge Upto £36,000 per annum Fabulous Opportunity for a Senior Account Manager within the IT arena close to Cambridge. Great salary on offer and good progression prospects here! Immediate vacancy for an external Sector Manager role to work in the Government sector of our client based just south of Cambridge.

Are you
Comfortable on the telephone or at a client meeting? Self-motivated with an organised, consultative approach to generating your new business opportunities? A professional with a good understanding of relevant markets and be capable of developing business right from personal prospecting to closure? The Sector Manager role is part of a team currently consisting of an account manager and shared Sales Support resource. It is expected that the Sector Manager will take responsibility for the majority of the day to day activities of the Government team.

Working with partners - market leading vendors in the Threat Protection arena - you will need to have the confidence to establish sound business relationships with all clients.
A proven demonstrable track record of working in a new-business environment and a willingness to prospect for your own business is essential.

The role will also involve account retention and growth - managing existing relationships and introducing new products and services.

The ideal applicant will possess a good understanding of the issues associated with one or more of the following

Endpoint security Email and Web Filtering Encryption and Data Leakage Prevention Professional Services Network security solutions in general Competitive salary commensurate with experience, up to £36k, with an achievable OTE of up to £65k+ after probation, plus additional adhoc vendor incentive schemes, with 25 days holiday a year, BUPA Healthcare, pension scheme, laptop, iphone/pda and parking.
