A highly respected and leading international claims consultancy are seeking a Partner to join their reputable Claims and Dispute Resolution, Legal team to be based in Bristol, working on capital projects with a proposed package of between £90,000 and £170,000.

Our client currently holds a leading position in the competitive global claims market, in supplying expert legal services to a variety of employers, contractors and legal Practices. Our client specialises on projects across various sectors including defence, m&e, oil & gas, build, civils, nuclear, petrochemical and rail ranging in value from £200,000 - £5billion on a global scale.

Due to high-volumes of repeat business, a rising market share and an increasing desire to be closer to their clients, this establishment is looking to add a Claims Partner to their already established London claims team.

The position involves:
   » Man-management and team development
   » Staff training
   » Managing results by effective use of KPI's
   » Business development and sales
   » Expert report writing
   » Working on Adjudication and Arbitration
   » Controlling, management, investigation, negotiation and settlement of claims for cross-sectored capital projects both in the UK and overseas
   » International travel
   » Representing the company at industry seminars and networking events
Requirements for perspective candidates include:
   » A relevant qualification in either engineering or quantity surveying
   » A second degree or masters will be an advantage
   » Membership to either, CIOB, RICS and if possible the CIARB
   » A proven management track-record
   » A core knowledge of the UK market
   » Experience in generating a fee-earning income and developing business via taking on new clients
   » Must have experience working with both Consultancies and Contractors
   » Must have a core sales attitude and great business mentality
   » Experience working on capital projects is essential
   » Will be willing to travel overseas
   » Experience working as an Expert Witness will be an advantage, as will experience representing clients in Adjudication and Arbitration
   » A charismatic, career motivated and passionate approach is essential
   » A valid UK working visa
