Maths Teacher

Tradewind is looking for an excellent Maths teacher to start in September 2011. The school is looking for someone who has QTS. The school is based in North London and was awarded ‘outstanding' status in 2006 and again in June 2009 by OFSTED. They are a vibrant and highly successful multi-cultural school.

Students achieve highly and are indeed a pleasure to support, teach and work with. The successful applicant must be capable of teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Your responsibilities would be to contribute to the ethos of the school by adhering to the schools code of professional conduct in dealings with students and colleagues. You would also be responsible for curriculum, quality marking and assessment of taught groups across Key Stages within the framework of school and department policies. You would also monitor student progress and co-ordination of appropriate intervention and use positive strategies to manage student behaviour in class and around the school.
