Account Manager - East Grinstead - Permanent - £30k My client a full-service, integrated, agency. With 52 offices in 48 countries is looking to recruit an Account Manager on a permanent basis based in there East Grinstead office. The Account Manager will be working with a Senior Account Manager or an Account Director and will be responsible for the operational day-to-day running of client accounts. This role will be paying circa £30k

The role
You will be heavily involved in the daily management of marketing databases, which will include database loads, maintenance, campaign extracts, campaign delivery, reporting, analysis, and general administration duties.

It is usual to have involvement in more than one client so you will be able to prioritise workload and multitask in a busy and often pressured environment. You will also need to be confident in dealing with clients on a one to one level

Skills & Experience
You will have experience of working within a direct marketing and database environment, preferably in a client facing role. You will need a strong understanding of data driven marketing. Experience of using tools to extract and process data for direct marketing campaigns (Alterian & Epiphany preferable but knowledge of any analysis, data exploration, reporting or campaign management tools is useful) Understanding of the campaign process including selections, list building, suppressions, control cells etc. Understanding of relational databases and data structures. Ability to support client queries regarding campaign selections, use of tools or data integrity. Ability to discuss data issues with clarity and confidence to people with varying levels of technical understanding ie both internally within RAPP and to clients. Excellent client facing skills, including presentations, proposals and problem solving. Responsibility for status meetings and for proposing/progressing action points from these. Engage in the clients' business and understand how we can meet their marketing requirements. Strive to exceed clients expectations and to give added value to projects. Proven ability to work to tight deadlines, under pressure.
