A good Primary school in Kensington & Chelsea, are looking for a Year 4 teacher to join their team from January and to take on the class for the rest of the academic year. It is a maternity cover however the Headteacher is unsure if teacher will be returning. With this in mind, the post could continue on for right candidate.

The school is very well resourced and there are some great teachers already in the foundation stage. The school are not in a position to accommodate an Newly Qualified teacher (NQT) and are looking for someone with at least one year teaching in Year 4. There are two children in the class with special needs and they both have full time Teaching Assistants

The suitable candidate will have:
• Specialist caring skills
• Ability to develop innovative teaching strategies
• Patience, flexibility and creativity
• Ability to motivate and encourage individuals and small groups
• Ability to be assertive and cope with children with challenging behaviour.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified teacher to further their experience in the Year 4. Interviews and trial activities are to take place by the end of November. Apply with an up to date CV.
