Experienced SEN Teaching assistant needed!

A school on the outskirts of Manchester is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching assistant to work on a one – one basis with a child with special educational needs. The child is in Year 4 and has recently been awarded funding for support for the duration of his time in the school.

The school is very large and has the capacity to hold around 500 children. The position may involve working across a number of different classes as a mainstream Teaching Assistant when additional cover is needed.

The child in particular has very specific special educational needs and because of this the school have asked for a minimum of a Level 3 Qualification and at least 2 years experience. The position is full time and is for at least on academic year.

REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidates will be confident and have a positive approach, as well as having relevant teaching qualifications, the right to work in the UK, 2 professional teaching references from within the last 2 years and a valid CRB.
