Early Years Teacher needed in Salford

As part of the Early Years review, A local School in Salford was delighted to be invited to explore the possibility of taking on responsibility for the provision of free flexible entitlement for 3-4 year olds with effect from 1st September 2012.

This exciting development will allow us to provide a high quality continuous learning journey for children from the age of 3 years. The on-going consultation process, linked to this important change, will conclude in mid-July 2012. A positive outcome to this would allow the appointment to the school of the following posts:

All posts will be permanent, but are dependent on the anticipated positive outcome from the consultation process. Successful applicants will initially work in the Early Years Foundation Stage, delivering and supporting the provision of high quality early learning experiences for 3-4 year old children. They will need to be enthusiastic, experienced Early Years practitioners, who are ready for the challenge of managing through a period of change. They will also need to be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of Foundation Stage practice, and some knowledge of the Key Stage One curriculum.

• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
• You must hold QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
