A teacher of English is required for an academic school based in Southwark to start in May 2012.

Our client has achieved a Grade 1 (Outstanding school) in their most recent OFSTED inspection.
The school consists of pupils aged 11-18 (Key Stages 3-5) and is an oversubscribed school with a friendly and results-driven culture.

We currently seek a dynamic and experienced teacher of English to work across the Key Stages (3-5)

The ideal candidate will be personable, committed and have an excellent ability to engage and stretch the pupils academically. A level teaching experience is preferable but not essential.

The successful candidate will start work during (if not before) the Easter half term and should be able to commit for at least a year. You will benefit from a fantastic department with new modern facilities and a friendly supportive team of staff.

· You must have the legal right to work in the UK
· You must hold QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
· This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
· Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
