Skills requirements

The Role
Consulting with senior and middle management and helping clients make decisions by supporting them through designing, leading and setting their programme direction on workplace risk matters
Lead a 18001 audit and improvement programme
Undertake complex Risk Assessments
Monitor and manage relationships with key clients
Initiate Ideas, create, review and develop strategy and tactical plans to achieve client and Ark internal goals.
Creating systems for managing the entire workplace risk management life cycle
Managing enforcement activity including emergency, notices and contentious situations and supporting client through this both from compliance and PR perspective
Expert witness for clients
Can manage key client accounts, programmes and plans
Monitor, motivate and manage a small team as team leader
Heading up committees and leading workshops/working groups for clients
Inspecting and auditing compliance and course correction for clients

Qualification and Experience
Prince2 (advantage)
Education - England Based
Can speak a European language (1st preference)
Can speak a second language (2nd preference)
MBA Qualification or calibre
CMIOSH or equivalent
18001 qualified
Fire Safety qualifications at NVQ 4 Level or equivalent experience or MIFireE (advantage)
6-10 years' experience in safety with 2 years at strategy planning level
Graduate, preferable risk related discipline

Telephone Interview and GIA tests follow
1st Interview with CEO - Competency based, how would you do etc.,scenario questions and interest in the company. Within 7 working days normally go to 2nd interview - Case study interview and HR interview
