Telesales Representative

Our client is a very successful and growing logistics software company that specialise in the provision of WMS software solutions. They are looking for a confident and tenacious, telesales professional with a proven track record in Business Software telesales. The successful candidate will identify business opportunities in the provision of logistics software, including ERP, CRM or warehouse management. You will be responsible for sales research, lead generation and appointment setting for the outdoor sales team. You will have previous experience of working within a fast paced telesales environment and be able to demonstrate your ability to make in excess of 50 outbound calls a day. It goes without saying that you will have an excellent telephone manner, will enjoy working with customers and be skilled at quickly building a rapport with them along with the ability to create long-term relationships over the phone. You will be adept at explaining product benefits and features, and generating appointments for your outdoor sales colleagues.

We seek an individual with a polite, friendly and confident manner who has above average communication and listening skills. You will need to be a quick thinker with a positive attitude, perseverance and the ability to work on your own initiative. You will need to be well organised and thorough even whilst working under pressure. Your IT skills will be good as you will need to enter notes into a computerised calling system including information about the customer and dates for follow up calls and appointments. Telesales technique and personality are the main pre-requisites for this role but a degree level education and recognised formal telesales training would be a distinct advantage.
