Grant Thornton is seeking an Account Manager to work as part of the team, effectively delivering on Business Growth Service's projects, specifically on the Business Coaching for Growth service. The current programme Business Coaching for Growth flagships business support initiative which runs to March 2015 and the objective is to help businesses overcome the constraints to high growth which will help 10,000 SMEs each year

Business Coaching for Growth (BCG) is a new coaching service designed for businesses intent on growth. The Account Manager's primary responsibilities are:
* to recruit client companies to the programme and ensure they are both eligible and suitable
* to complete an analysis of the clients' position and barriers to growth supported by proprietary analytical tools
* to design and agree the package of support to be provided to the client by the programme with co-investment by the client and government
* to ensure that the portfolio of services received by the client delivers the maximum impact in assisting the client company to reach its full growth potential within the constraints of the programme
* to manage the on-going relationship with the client
* to ensure that the outcomes of the programme are delivered across a portfolio of clients.
* to ensure compliance with all required programme reporting and management approaches as outlined in the Operations Manual and other documentation as appropriate

Therefore Grant Thornton is looking for a business expert with experience of managing or advising on a range of business issues associated with periods of high growth, someone who has a proven track record in a target orientated environment with excellent communication and influencing skills and you will ideally be degree level educated in business education, or degree level qualification with a management body or the relevant business experience to match those.
