Head of Reward and Performance - 12 months - Central gov - London My client is looking for an experienced Head of Reward and Performance to lead the team and deliver best in sector performance and pay deliverables and service to all parts of the business. The candidate will drive behaviours across the business, raise performance and engagements, recognise and reward contribution to support the delivery of the key strategic priorities. Key responsibilities include:Developed and drive forward a reward strategy, ensuring that internal equity is maintained across all compensation processes and procedures in job evaluation and grading. Explore the introduction of competency based pay arrangements Lead on creation of pay remits and work with key colleagues to develop negotiations strategy and scripts for all pay and reward consultationManage the corporate reward and performance budgetsLead the strategic development of the performance management policy and processesEssential skills include:Security cleared to a minimum CTC level, ideally with background in central govStrong experience of making a major contribution to the creation of Reward and HR strategy that translate into workable measurable implementation plansUnderstanding and exposure to Total Reward management conceptKnowledge of job evaluation methodologiesExcellent relationship management and communication skillsExperienced line manager Ideally qualified to MCIPD level
