SAP BI/BOBJ Solutions Architect

SAP BI/BOBJ Solution Architect I am looking for a senior level SAP BI/BOBJ resource to function as a Solutions Architect. This role would be customer facing at all levels of the organization to drive reporting and analytics requirements aligned with the overall business strategy. The candidate must be able to translate those requirements into a sound SAP BI/BOBJ design utilizing accepted best practices. Work with the business to develop Functional Specifications. Articulate the design in Technical Specifications. Direct onsite technical resources to deliver the solution on-time and under budget. Coordinate multiple BI initiatives at one time. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must.

This position will report to the SAP BI Lead and be responsible for the support of the new SAP BI solutions, predominantly in the areas of Enterprise Data Warehousing and Enterprise Query, Reporting, and Analysis. Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to support of day-to-day maintenance and enhancement of the existing SAP/BI environment.

   » Ability to work in cross-functional teams within the organization
   » Knowledge and experience working in SAP, specifically BI development and related components

Minimum Qualifications:

   » Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Finance/Accounting from an accredited 4 year college or university
   » Equivalent experience is acceptable in lieu of a college degree
   » Minimum of 3 years experience with SAP BI development including SAP BW 7.x or higher, SAP BO XI 3.1, Crystal Reports 2008 or higher
   » Excellent customer facing experience including requirements gathering, facilitating requirements gathering workshops
   » Proficiency in: SAP NetWeaver BI 7.0 or higher, SAP Business Objects XI 3.1 or higher, Crystal Reports 2008 or later
   » Experience with multiple functional areas used by manufacturing organizations, including but not limited to; FI/CO, COPA, SD, MM, PP, QM, HCM, or CRM
   » Knowledge of SAP Enterprise Portal and SAP NetWeaver stack, including underlying Java components
