students are invaluable to aspiring entrepreneurs
Graduate jobs are thin on the ground but, according to small business insurer Hiscox, that only creates an incentive for young entrepreneurs to go it alone and start their own businesses.
John Heaney, Hiscox’s small and medium-sized enterprises expert, said: “The students are right to recognise the importance of skills like creativity and networking for business success.
“Together with the knowledge gained from experience, they are invaluable to aspiring entrepreneurs.”
The report also showed IT and computing students were the most likely to become entrepreneurs, along with business management students.
