A leading SEN school for the visually impaired requires Teaching Assistants for January 2010.

All of the 120 children have a statement for visual impairment and most have additional physical or learning difficulties.

The school offers residential places for students from out of London on weekdays/nights. The school has been established for many years, and as such, offers excellent training for newcomers. You would be joining a stable staff of 180.

Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position:
* You must have good spoken English;
* You must have a minimum of 6 months child related experience;
* Your CV must cover the last 5 years employment history and any employment breaks must be explained;
* You need to supply two recent references of which one must be from a school setting;
* This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure.
