We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Catholic secondary school in South London for a Learning Support Assistant to join a their SEN department. This is a very successful and inclusive school that can support students with a variety of disabilities and statements.

We are looking for a number of teaching assistants to join the school to help with the increased number of students in the new academic year. You will need to demonstrate a good working knowledge of challenges faced by disabled students and/or those with ASD needs. You will be supporting one student in all their classes including PE where appropriate.

Candidates will need to have experience working with secondary aged children and be confident working with students across the age range up to 16 years old. This is an on going role to start within the first week of term on a supply basis.

Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position:
* You must have good spoken English;
* You must have a minimum of 6 months child related experience;
* Your CV must cover the last 5 years employment history and any employment breaks must be explained;
* You need to supply two recent references of which one must be from a school setting;
* This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure.
