An exciting opportunity has become available for you to join a fantastic team school in Merton. We are looking for a pro active Teaching Assistant who has experience working with children who have Autism.

You will be working in the Year 2 classroom supporting a student on the autistic spectrum helping them work through tasks set by the class teacher, encourage interaction with other students in the class and meeting with the parents to discuss progress being made.

We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position:

* You must have good spoken English;

* You must have a minimum of 6 months child related experience;

* Your CV must cover the last 5 years employment history and any employment breaks must be explained;

* You need to supply two recent references of which one must be from a school setting;

* This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure.
