An investment bank in London City is looking for a contract business analyst.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Undertaking small changes in agreed BAU work packages.

Ensuring that changes are agreed, documented, built tested and implemented safely into the applications.

Liaising with users and user management to ensure that changes are properly understood prioritised and packaged.

Providing an interface to level 1 and level 2 support functions in respect of problems in the TLM production platforms.

Raising and maintaining pro-actively Incident Records for the appropriate important or critical issues.

Liaising with users, support teams, infrastructure teams and incident management team as appropriate until issues are resolved.

Identifying or devising workarounds whilst issues remain unresolved.

Supporting the deployment of agreed code and configuration package releases and the attendant business and technical checkout processes. This often occurs at weekends or unsocial hours.

Processing change requests for agreed changes in the applications. Configuring the required changes in the TLM Applications, performing system testing, organising user testing and implementing the changes.

Essential Experience:

·Global Financial Markets, or software vendor IT Systems BAU environment, preferably in Trade Reconciliations for the Finance community.

·Proven and logical problem investigation skills in areas relating to applications, infrastructure, network, interfaces and technical operational processes.

·Good communication and documentation skills.

·SmartStream TLM Generic Reconciliations application (v 2.5) configuration tools and change migration tools for the SmartStream TLM application.

·SmartStream match rules and user dashboard configuration.

·Oracle query, knowledge of Linux, and JBOSS.
