Tradewind are assisting a large mixed comprehensive school in the borough of Ealing to help find a Teaching Assistant to cover a maternity contract.

The role is expected to start in Mid November, although it may become earlier. This role offers a good rate of pay and a fixed term of supply employment until the end of the academic year. You will support one student in Year 10 within mainstream classes and in particular improving literacy and numeracy. The student is often distracting and part of your role will be keeping the student to task, assisting the teacher with supporting this student and writing regular reports. If the student’s behaviour becomes too disruptive you will remove the student to the library to work one on one in this environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain further SEN experience. Candidates will need to be able to commit to the full period and will be subject to an enhanced CRB check.

* You must have good spoken English;
* You must have a minimum of 6 months child related experience;
* Your CV must cover the last 5 years employment history and any employment breaks must be explained;
* You need to supply two recent references of which one must be from a school setting;
* This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure.
