PRE-SALES/POST-SALES ENGINEER (JAVA, WEBSERVICES) - $110-$130k + Bonus   About The Company/Role: An exciting opportunity has become available to join a world class company whose products change the way their clients operate at a fundamental level.

Your prime responsibility will be to assist the Salesperson during the pre-sale discovery phase where you will analyse the needs of the prospective client and recommend potential solutions that are feasible and attainable alongside the business goals and objectives of the client.
After the contract is executed, you will lead the initial Configuration Design Workshop along with the Client Manager and key client personnel. The purpose of the workshop is to flesh out all necessary configuration details in order to build out the environment for the customer, to discuss and set success metrics, and to begin to build out the implementation and rollout plan.
You will then remain engaged on the account where you will also be expected to report back to Product Management/Marketing all new use cases, features, functions, or supporting information that will assist in defining enhancements to the product offering. 

Responsibilities:

   » Act as the primary solution architect and technical contact for prospective clients and for new use cases/new opportunities within existing accounts
   » Conduct product demonstrations when necessary, and assist in removing obstacles that may exist during the sales cycle
   » Assist Salespeople in developing discovery phase summary documentation for prospective clients and new opportunities
   » Assist in developing presentations and on-line product demonstrations for customer meetings or marketing events
   » Ensure adoption and renewals
   » Lead the initial Configuration Design Workshop with assistance from Client Manager
   » Measure success criteria against client business goals and objectives
   » Identify and help drive new uses of the service
Requirements:
   » Minimum 5 years customer facing experience in a technical pre-sales/post-sales environment
   » Previous experience within a Java/Webservices environment
   » Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to speak publicly to groups, and create and deliver effective, polished presentations
   » Ability to work with technical teams and personnel to overcome service delivery obstacles
   » Demonstrated ability to participate effectively as part of and within a team atmosphere required
   » Background in consulting helpful
   » Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience required
   » Travel required
