Business Analyst - (Mining Industry) contract

6 month rolling contract - 18 month project Heavy Industry experience required $800 - $1000 p/d Business Analyst  My Client is a Global Mining Organisation who is currently seeking a Business Analyst to assist on a large and complex Datawarehouse implementation. They are implementing a new reporting solution.

Responsibilities:

   » Gathering requirements from business users  
   » Requirement Build, all work-shopping, talking to the business units/users etc
   » Building the detailed technical specifications.
   » Mapping the solution through to a functional design/architecture.
   » Working with the technical team to define solution.
   » Managing the testing phase
Key Experience:

   » Previous experience as a Business Analyst working for a Mining company or Heavy Industry.
   » Ability to talk to all levels of the business from senior management, mining engineers, maintenance workers, geotechnical engineers, heavy truck drivers, etc.
   » Datawarehouse implementation experience
The role will require extensive travel to different mine sites within Australia. The initial portion of the project will be based out of Mt Isa. All flights and accommodation will be provided for.
