Senior Backup/Storage Engineer

A leading global technology vendor is currently seeking a Senior Backup/Storage Engineer to provide high-end support and subject matter expert advice for their enterprise Backup software products. This role will be part of an elite global team of Subject Matter Experts, providing the highest level of support for Enterprise Backup software products, ranging from technical software issues through to complex configuration assistance, troubleshooting and root cause analysis. You will be responsible for taking ownership of escalated cases and will be known as a subject matter expert globally for these products.

Essential requirements for this position:
   » 5-10 years experience in the IT Industry.
   » Advanced software troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
   » In depth knowledge of Backup/Restore software, eg. Symantec NetBackup, BackupExec, EMC Networker, CA ARCserve, etc.
   » Ability to work with customers and excellent communication skills are essential.
