SAP Test Analyst (Q2)

Our client, a leading Queensland Government Department based in the CBD, is currently seeking 2 x SAP Test Analysts to join them on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities for this role will include the following; Complete system, integration and regression testing and associated activities such as defect logging, prioritisation and management, within established frameworks, strategies, standards, methodologies and policies; Collaborate with other teams and external stakeholders as required to undertake timely preparation for testing, issue and defect resolution to enable test execution deadlines to be met to ensure timely release of functionality for the benefit of ' external ' clients; Contribute to test planning including automation planning, scheduling, preparation and report development; Monitor and evaluate testing progress, risks and issues and assist with reporting on these items appropriately to key stakeholders including governance bodies; Plan, develop/record and execute automated test cases and scripts and associated data preparation scripts; Contribute to project work and strategic or improvement analysis and advice to management on testing, application and associated issues and initiatives including risk and issue identification and management; Assist test analysts to complete system, integration and regression testing and associated activities within established frameworks, strategies, standards, methodologies and policies; Liaise, consult and negotiate effectively with team members, other project teams, stakeholders and client groups to develop and maintain effective working relationships and the integrity of the overall integrated solution; and Contribute to effective, client focussed teamwork by developing an understanding of the roles and duties of team members within the team, and working collaboratively to achieve outcomes with a commitment to quality and customer service.

To be successful for this role you will possess the following criteria;
Demonstrated high level of expertise and experience in a test analyst role performing system, integration, regression and/or user acceptance testing and co-ordination in a complex system environment; Demonstrated high level of knowledge of current test automation technology, particularly the HP Quality Center Toolset and application of such in the development and execution of tests; Demonstrated high level of knowledge of integrated ERP solutions, particularly the SAP HR & Payroll modules as used by Queensland Government; Proven ability to assist management and team leaders in supervising and assisting other team members to deliver effective services to clients; and Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively liaise, consult and negotiate a diverse range of stakeholders and build positive relationships in an environment of change.
