Cognos Developer

My client has an immediate requirement for a Cognos Developer for an immediate contract opportunity. The role will require a candidate with Senior Cognos reporting experience accompanied by strong Database knowledge (ideally SQL). The role will be an initial 6 month contract opportunity with the view to extend for the right candidate. It will involve working closely in a small project team working alongside the business.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

   » Senior Cognos reporting experience, with experience in the end to end reporting process,
   » Strong database knowledge ideally SQL,
   » If you have experience in finance this would be an advantage but not a necessity,
   » Experienced in relational database (RDBMS) administration and associated database management issues.
   » Experienced in operating in a large, diverse commercial environment with several disparate systems and information sources.
   » Strong conceptual analysis and design ability.
   » Experienced in performing business analysis and documenting business requirements
Candidate will have to have be experienced with the full Cognos BI Suite
