One of the leading Financial Services companies based in the CBD is seeking a Snr Java/J2EE Developer for 6mnths initially with prospects of extension. Working on a major project to migrate the core application to the web, the role includes:
   » Designing and developing solutions
   » Managing the life cycle of the solutions delivery process from design to system testing
   » Creating and maintaining documents as a part of solution delivery process
   » Enforcing coding standards and do code reviews
   » Managing a small team of developers
Skills
   » 5+yrs Java/J2EE development experience
   » Web services (REST)
   » HTML, JQuery, Javascript, AJAX and CSS
   » JBoss/Weblogic
   » Eclipse and JUnit
   » Confluence, Bamboo, Fisheye, Maven, JIRA
   » Sub version
   » Seam, JSF and Rich faces (desirable)
   » MS SQL server SQL skills (desirable)
In addition to the above technical requirements, the senior developer should have the following:
   » Knowledge of design patterns.
