SQL Server DBA - eCommerce

On their behalf we seek an experienced SQL Server DBA to join their large eCommerce technology team.

The successful candidate will demonstrate at least 4 years experience with large Microsoft SQL Server databases preferably mainly for eCommerce purposes.

Excellent communication skills and experience working with multiple in-house development teams as well as off shored teams would also be advantageous, as will highly developed and demonstrable problem solving skills including T-SQL analysis and performance optimisation.

Reporting to the technology manager, this position liaises directly with project managers and team/tech leaders of the development and infrastructure groups.

Areas of responsibility will include: 

* Support of all Testing, Production and Development databases 
* Data migration and transformation 
* Backup and recovery
* Performance tuning/management 
* Develop processes/procedures and jobs for maintenance 
* Capacity planning
* Manage security adhering to in-house SOX compliant procedures
* Installing/configuring systems, patches and upgrades 
* Security audit and development 
* Develop corporate DB policy and procedure
