Business Analyst - IT Operations (S11)

My client is a prestigious and progressive Financial Services company with operations on a global scale. Due to business expansion and growth, they are currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst . Working in the IT Operations team responsible for middle and Back Office systems you will be responsible for the creation of an IT Operations model that reflects industry best practices and can scale globally.

Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

   » Communicating and consulting with technical representatives to gather and interpret requirements.
   » Facilitating requirements gathering and process design workshops with various IT teams and project team members.
   » Validating and documenting technical & business requirements.
   » Identifying functional areas and stakeholders impacted by the project.
   » Liaising with senior project/IT stakeholders.
   » Reengineering and documenting existing processes affected by the above requirements.
   » Supporting IT teams by providing clarity on requirements where necessary.
   » Planning, implementing & helping roll out the resulting model globally

You will need the following skills and experience to be considered:



   » Tertiary qualifications in IT, engineering or a comparable field.
   » Business analysis skills.
   » Systems analyst experience, or experience in a similar technology focused role.
   » A keen interest in technology and how it can be used to solve business problems.
   » Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
   » Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
   » An ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
   » Strong problem solving skills.
   » ITIL v3 experience in particular
   » Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
   » Experience in facilitating and leading workshops.
