Essential Functions and Duties: Responsible for assisting the development and maintenance of the controls and procedures for the company and its subsidiaries at all locations. Providing guidance in the implementation of the framework published by the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations (COSO) and in the company control system and control standards.
   » Directing various FCD teams in implementing and maintaining the corporate wide control documentation system, including the implementation and maintenance of the control management and reporting system (SOX software) that manages, monitors, and reports on the corporate wide critical controls.
   » Direct various FCD teams overseeing the continuous maintenance of control processes and control documentation in accordance with the established control framework.
   » Direct various FCD teams in the development and preparation of the assessment reports on the control system necessary to satisfy Sarbanes-Oxley annual requirement.
   » In addition to multiple crucial tasks, this position will participate in reviewing control systems in conjunction with the accounting staff at all company locations to ensure that they comply with the established standards.
   » Monitor, annual testing and assessment reports of the subsidiaries.
   » Monitor and receive the subsidiary controllers' signoffs required to be sent to the corporate controller.

Minimum Requirements:
   » Bachelors degree required, Accounting Degree preferred.
   » 6-9 years of accounting experience.
   » FMLI and CPA preferred as well as an experience mix with 2 to 4 years of work in Public Accounting as an auditor or an internal auditor, 2 to 4 years in general or finance accounting
   » 2 to 3 years in the insurance industry within the financial reporting area Strongly preferred.
   » IT Auditing Experience Require - minimum 1 year of current experience.
   » Any exposure to insurance, regulation, and insurance operation as well as an understanding of control techniques and control procedures would be beneficial.
   » This position requires frequent contact with external auditors, operation personnel, IT services personnel, actuarial personnel, compliance personnel, various management levels, and outside regulators and agencies, it is essential that the incumbent is able to relate to and interact with various personalities.
