This well known, established retail business are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their team. Currently going through an exciting transitional period, this is a newly created position which will enable the successful applicant to make a positive impact on the business.

Some of the specific responsibilities within this role will include the following:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for the company
- Preparation of related analysis of sales, margins and costs
- Production of budgets and forecasts and input into strategic plans for the board
- Thorough review and challenge of the accounts before submission to the management team
- Develop relationships with function heads to enable them to control the business effectively

The successful applicant will ideally be qualified with experience of the retail sector and advanced excel skills.
