Asbestos Surveyor, responsible for all aspects of the undertaking Type 1, 2 and 3 asbestos surveys on council housing. Job Description: Contracting client's to arrange appropriate appointment Completing pre visit risk assessments and creating project files
Physically undertaking the survey, compiling both hard copy site notes and collecting electronic information where appropriate.
Taking bulk samples in accordance with accredited procedures and drawing of site plans.
Liaising with a specified laboratory to arrange the analysis and identification of bulk samples.
Compiling written reports in Microsoft Word and Inspection profiles in Excel.
BOHS P402 as a minimum
S301 would be an advantage
Driving License
Input of data onto a PDA, and the ability to compile hand written site notes
