A vacancy has arisen at an Academy in Central London for a Design and Technology Technician.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Department, and will be responsible for providing professional and reliable support to the department, managing the day to day running of the workshops and related areas and to ensure that Health and Safety standards are met throughout the department.

You should be able to prioritise activities, demonstrate a flexible approach and identify areas for development, both in yourself and within the department. Previous experience in an educational setting is essential.

Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position:
* You must have good spoken English;
* You must have a minimum of 6 months child related experience;
* Your CV must cover the last 5 years employment history and any employment breaks must be explained;
* You need to supply two recent references of which one must be from a school setting;
* This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure.
