Reporting to the Clinical Operations Manager the position of Study Manager will require the successful Study Manager to manage projects, deliver project plans, schedule resources and manage team activities. Based in Cambridge the Study Manager will possess commercial awareness gained from experience and sound knowledge of the clinical research and NHS Trust regulatory framework.



Key Responsibilities:



· Supporting Business Development (BD), in study feasibility, including assessment and co-ordination of potential protocols, their costs and subsequent co-ordination of meetings

· Execute study status reports and communicate our clients clinical trial strategy to Sponsor and internally to project team e.g. study metrics

· Management of the relationship, communication and trouble-shooting with sponsors

· Ensure studies are completed according to timelines and budget

· Conduct studies to ICH GCP and Sponsor/client procedures

· Contribute to the development and review of project related documentation, materials and procedures

· Contribute to general business strategy and that of the clinical department

· To work with BD in promoting our client to Sponsors and to NHS Trust departments

· Co-ordinate the 'validation' of new Investigator/Sites

· CRN training (including ICH-GCP) and mentoring

· Have a working knowledge of the clinical trials process at Sponsor and site level
